"Evan Murdock's songs tread the line between timely and timeless - you'll swear you've heard them somewhere before, then they'll jangle around in your head like a shiny new dime. A multi-instrumentalist and former member of the Kentucky Waterfalls, Murdock's shared billings with Tony Rice, Del McCoury and the Yonder Mountain String Band, along with many others. His new material draws on the work of songwriters and performers like John Prine, Mississippi John Hurt, George Jones, and Robert Earl Keen, and blends them into a sound that is sentimental without being sappy, irreverent but not irrelevant."

Daylight in the Swamp is a 5-piece contemporary bluegrass band based out of Madison, Wisconsin. The band members merge five very distinct personalities, preserving a hard-driving traditional b! luegrass sound while including some material from other musical styles. Their work can best be described as "Music with a Bluegrass Accent." Members of Daylight in the Swamp have opened or shared the stage with such greats as Bill Monroe, The Johnson Mountain Boys, Ricky Skaggs, Union Station, Alison Krauss, and the Henhouse Prowlers.
